Cartridges are OUTDATED - Disappointed

I ordered the 88XL black cartridge using Prime. The box has not been opened, but the expiry date of the cartridge is 2012. I bought ink cartridges from eBay before for much less than those I bought at Amazon and I continued to receive messages at the printer menu - old ink cartridges. I am without a printer until a new cartridge can be delivered. Very disappointed.

This has never been the case at Amazon. Cartridges will be returned back.

Terrible experience. Purchased this item because of the warranty/guarantee...

Purchased this item because of the warranty/guarantee offered by hp. The cartridge worked during the first use, but the left lines of day 2 of my print and the print labels I use for my company were unusable. The print worked after 4 or 5 cleans of the print heads. Day 3, the cartridge was completely dry and my print head and printed documents were carrying large pieces of black ink. I went to a local store to buy a NEW ink cartridge, I cleaned the print head 8 to 10 times, took the print heads manually to clean them, and nothing could be done. The new print heads cost $ 75 and the new printer $ 200, which does not take 88XL cartridges.

COULD NOT BE MORE DISSATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT!

Check the expiration date!

I bought this hp ink cartridge from Printer Cartridge Ink on May 1, 2018. I just opened it and stuck it in the printer. It worked well until yesterday (November 12, 2018) when my hp printer announced that the expired ink cartridge could no longer be used - which means the printer would not print until I installed a new ink cartridge! When I took it out of the printer and took a look at the cartridge, it was dated October 3, 2010… It was six and a half years old when I received. The lesson is learned - check the date of purchase of the hp ink cartridge.

Hp ink cartridges work but are not as announced.

I almost ALWAYS read the reviews before buying, but this time I did not do it. I should have done it. As others have pointed out, the cartridge has expired and the printer warns you when you install the new cartridge. The product image represents the retail packaging and it was not the packaging when it arrived. The cartridge is working well for the moment.

My heartburn is the product is represented to be something that it is not. If the seller had identified that the ink was close to or already expired, I might have bought it anyway, but it was not.

Disappointed in me that I did not read the reviews. Disappointed by the seller that the product is really poorly represented.

I did not return the cartridge, because when my printer broke down, I needed ink and it was 3 am, so I had no other options. I will definitely check before buying from this seller, and I would recommend the same thing.
