I had this to replace my 14-year-old Samsung printer who eventually passed away. It's very fast and works well. The problem with HP is that they have to choose an arbitrary "purchase date" based on the date of manufacture. For example, when you visit the links page to check the warranty, you discover that HP indicates that a certain number of months have already expired. In my case, it was worth 3 months.
HP is supposed to click on a link to request a review and adjustment of the warranty to correct the problem. But this link was dead, so I had to open a support request and email a copy of the invoice for the purchase. After about a week, HP finally adjusted the warranty. So, know that you will probably have to do the same thing.
This printer works very well with Linux and HPLIP. If you can get this model at a good price, I would recommend it.
