HP 22lb copy and print paper: good paper and good compromise

Finally, I found the perfect paper for my HP 175nw laser printer. Although not excessively thick and rigid, this 22 lb / 83 g paper with a gloss index of  97 is a perfect compromise between weight, translucency and gloss. As others have already mentioned, the 22lb weight is MUCH better than the usual 20lb fragile weight papers. Some tips: 1) If your printer supports it, set the printer control panel to "Less Curling" and 2) Set the printer preferences to a weight of "90 grams" instead of the setting generic "Liaison". The only complaint I can make (and maybe it's a good feature) is that the paper is cut very precisely, it is difficult to browse a multi-page document. Ok ... it's not really a complaint.

Ideal for general print jobs. No problems with the Brother Laser Printer

(excellent price, identical to a mono-pack version)

This is 5 packages of a single package of "$ 11.25, HP Paper, All-in-One Print Paper, Wrapping Paper, 22 lb, 8.5 x 11, Letter, 96 Glossy, 500 sheets / 1 ream (207010) made in the United States "at only $ 23.68. This is almost 60% cheaper than a single package.

But by the time I clicked to order it, the delivery was delayed by at least 2 days.

So I ordered a single pack of 500 sheets at 11.25 dollars and waited for 5 packs. Fortunately, the wait was short. They arrived only 2 days later.

(UPS delivery problem)

The only thing I reported to Amazon.com is that the UPS left its amazon brown box outside the door and was exposed to rain for a few hours. And, the inner HP box was also wet. But fortunately, with each package wrapped in plastic, I could save them all, thankfully. But the papers are not immune to the rain, even if they are double.

(quality)

The paper is moderately fine and its brightness and quality are excellent for general purposes.

The older Epson Inkjet printers (4 printers in 6 years) that I owned and their paper feeders did not fit this thickness perfectly, as they sometimes fed more than 2 or could not possibly pull a single paper in their head. But since I switched from Epson Inkjet printers to Brother monochrome laser printers (MFCL2740DW), this has become reckless. Never an erratic result. In addition, the Brother laser printer performs two-sided printing and this paper is processed well without a bleed on the double-sided dense text.

(laser photo printing, not so terrible)

However, BW laser printing of an image file on this paper looks like a mess. Too dark and stained. I could not recognize the pictures. So, this is better for printing text file.

In short,

I stopped looking for other brand papers once I found this HP paper through Amazon User Reviews.

I will buy next time more.

Initially, this purchase worried me, because the outer box was split into both sides. Once I opened it completely and took out the paper box, I was still worried because this box was also divided. However, once I opened it, I was pleased to find that each package of 500 sheets of paper was intact and ready to be used as if I had picked it up at the big box office supplies section. The only difference is the price. It was so cheaper and I did not have to move it to and from my car.

The paper is bright white and its weight of 22 kilograms gives it a particular cachet that I appreciate when writing personal and professional correspondence. The texture is smooth and I tested it. The way he holds the ink is impressive. You may have the best printer in the world, but if your paper does not meet the standards, your pages will be the same too.
